11/12/2020 Statement made in Magic Millions Online
Dual winner Sweeping Statement (I Am Invincible) topped the Magic Millions Online Sale yesterday when she realised $185,000 to Gall Bloodstock. Having previously been coowners in the four-year-old, Brett and Ray Gall of Gall Bloodstock - who are major shareholders in the filly’s sire, I Am Invincible - gained outright ownership of Sweeping Statement, who was the only lot to breach the six-figure barrier. Trained by Chris Waller, Sweeping Statement was last seen running fourth in a Canterbury handicap on August 19, while both of her victories have come on Randwick’s Kensington track. Next on the list of top lots was Anyaas, a nine-yearold daughter of Commands (Danehill) who achieved her best form when running second in the 2015 Carr Stakes (Gr 3, 1400m). The dam of one foal, an unraced daughter by Vancouver (Medaglia D’Oro) in Tuuli, Anyaas was offered with a covering by Deep Field (Northern Meteor) having been served on September 27. She was knocked down to A Value Consulting for $90,000. Three Bridges Thoroughbreds went to $80,000 to secure once-raced Tapit (Pulpit) filly Tapping, one of five lots to make $50,000 or more.
